Berea Gardens:  Market,Market for April 20

Hi Friends,

The title refers to the fact that the official 2016 opening of the Calhoun County Farmer’s Market happens this Wednesday! We will be at the Upper West Fork Park from 9 AM to 1 PM, so come and see us all if you can. All of the vendors are gearing up for another great season and Loretta will again be serving a great list of options for breakfast and lunch. It looks like we will have a couple of new vendors this year and that is always good so we can bring you more variety. We have a bushel of ramps that we will be taking to the market and whatever we don’t sell will be available to our online customers, so if you want some we will be happy to provide them to you when you pick up your orders Wednesday afternoon.

Our grain mill is back together so we will be accepting bread orders this week.

Our online market will remain open throughout the season for those of you that can’t make it to the park.

Blessings,
Bob, Lynnita and Jordyn

Champaign, OH:  Blue Sky

Walk along the river, sweet lullaby, it just keeps on flowing,
Don’t fly, mister blue bird, I’m just walking down the road,
Early morning sunshine tell me all I need to know…

You’re my blue sky, you’re my sunny day.
Lord, you know it makes me high when you turn your love my way,
Turn your love my way, yeah…
(Blue Sky-Allman Brothers)

Well, because it’s sunny, it’s warm, the sky is a clear blue, and it’s the kind of weather that makes this hippie girl, your market manager, want to be twirlin’ in the sunshine, groovin’ tunes to twirl by, and to be so happy that we are easing into this beautiful new season!!

To celebrate the transition, I am so happy to report that one of our favorite growers is back on the scene, at the market, with their lovely early season offerings! Yes…End Of The Road Farms is back!!

Twirl on, fast, to the market site to get your orders in!! Things will go fast, and this is the time of the season we look so forward to!!

It’s all around us…everywhere I drive, the fields are getting ready for planting, our early producers have survived the winter and are slowly coming in with their offerings, growers are reporting in with what they are growing, experimenting with, and everyone wants to dance with elation!

Blue Sky…you’re my sunny day, indeed…

The market is open, twirl on…

Peace, Love, Good Vibes…

Stones River Market:  Tracey's Glasses

I apologize for another email this morning but have needed to send this since last Wednesday after pickup.

If anyone accidentally picked up a cheap, scratched pair of brown eyeglasses (not sunglasses and not readers) I would love to have them back.

They usually lay on the checkout table next to the register. We looked everywhere at L & L and through all our market things so I am hoping they show up in someone’s bag :D.

THANK YOU!!

Tracey
